Post-installation tasks

After the installation was successful and all components are up and running, the following configurations have to be completed before the product is ready to use:

Step 1: Create user accounts

While the installation procedure will create realms, clients and roles in Keycloak, it will not create any users. In order to be able to work with IBM Financial Services Workbench, please create at least one user account in Keycloak (see User Configuration).

Step 2: Create and configure deployment targets for solutions

In order to be able to deploy solutions that are created in IBM Financial Services Workbench, please create one or more OpenShift projects that are used as deployment targets and instrument them by configuring k5 projects (see Creating a k5project ).

Step 3: Configure one of the supported Git providers

The Solution Designer offers the flexibility to connect to one or more Git providers. Please configure the Solution Designer as described in Setting up the Design Environment.

Step 4: Create your first solution

Design and launch your first solution by following the instructions in Creating Solutions From Scratch.
