Managing a solution

Edit a solution

To edit the master data of the solution, open the Solution and navigate to the Overview Page, select the Edit Master Data capability.

You can then adjust the

Name
Category
Domains
Icon
Description

and confirm your entry.

Export a solution

To share a Solution with other Teams in the Local Marketplace open the Solution and navigate to the Overview Page, select the Export capability. To execute that capability, you need to have the Role “MP_USER”. Then you are asked to enter the following information for the exported Solution.


Property	Description
Marketplace Name	Application acronym. The acronym must be unique and must not contain more than 8 characters in capital letters and numbers without special characters. Mandatory information
Contributed by	Name or Organisation, shown in the Local Marketplace view Mandatory information.
Marketplace Domains	Tags that allow other users to group in the Local Marketplace view. Optional information
Marketplace Description	Description for the Solution shown in the Local Marketplace view. Optional information

Confirming the entries will transfer your solution to the Local Marketplace and it can be resued by others.

Delete a solution

To delete a solution open the Solution and navigate to the Overview Page, select the Delete capability.

Then you are asked to confirm the deletion. After confirmation the Solution will be deleted.

Delete is only shown if the user has the needed privileges granted in the Git Repository.

Attention: Please note that a restore of a deleted Solution is not possible.

Solution permissions

Within the Solution Designer there is no possibility to grant permissions to a Solution.

To make a team workable with the solution you must manage the permission in the Git Repository.
